Sleeveless Trench is Perfect for Transitioning to Fall

Ahhh, Fall – tis’ the season of transitional dressing. This fall, we’re all about the duster vest, to layer up while adding some serious style points. From gold-button suiting versions (as I am wearing), to drape collared sleeveless trenches (nailed it, again), tweeds and cargo … you will be able to find whatever suits your taste and style. I love dressing for fall!

If you watch beauty guru’s on Youtube, you are probably familiar with the recent tag going around. It’s called the ‘Ride or Die Tag’, and was originated by the very popular, Jaclyn Hill. I no longer watch Jaclyn, and didn’t actually watch HER ‘Ride or Die’ video. I don’t watch too much Youtube, these days. I have limited my following down to about six people. But I have enjoyed watching the videos created by some of the guru’s that I do follow. The ‘Ride or Die Tag’ is basically your absolute favorite (Holy Grail/cannot live without) beauty products. This is covering all categories – from start to finish, in your makeup application. This prompted me to do my make-up for this photo shoot using all of my favorite products, and then share them with you. Here are my ‘Ride or Die’ products:

Awesome post, Tracy!! I am so glad you did the “Ride or Die” segment!! I think I just realized I was using the NARS powder incorrectly; I’m supposed to blot, apparently! Added a couple of items to purchase; I’ve been hesitant to purchase a sleeveless trench since they were introduced (spring? last fall?) because I typically only wear sleeveless when it’s really warm. Aah, the things we do for fashion, sometimes, lol! Thanks again for a fantastic blog, and for taking so much time to link so many options! You’re the best!

Thank you Amy! Yes, I agree …blotting with powder is always my theory. But, as you know, I am an oil slick. If I swiped (vs. blot) … it would be a train-wreck. I’ve done it, believe me!! I can see your point on ‘sleeveless’. Let’s face it, we get, what .. maybe a few weeks of actual transitioning seasons, here in Michigan? I always say, you cannot have too many boots, or coats in this state. Summer clothing, maybe! Fall/winter, never!! Nonetheless, I do love the whole trend … very chic. And the quality of this one, for the price … couldn’t beat it! And of course, trying to channel my inner ‘Victoria Beckham”!!! lol Now where’s David??? haha

I love this post so so so much, Tracy! It’s my “go-to” when I’m at ulta or sephora looking for new products! Thanks so much for your hard work in posting all of this! You are the best!!!! 🙂 Love ya!

Thank you Rebecca! I am glad you are finding this useful. I love beauty products … but there is nothing like my favorite, ‘Go-to’s’. I eventually want to pull the makeup content out of this blog post and put it in it’s own post without the fashion shots. I am hoping to improve on my photography skills and camera knowledge soon and get better shots of everything. have a nice day and thank you for sharing!!!
