Yellow Pleated Cami
Top: new (size s), but I can only find it online in Plus Size. Other options from Forever 21, here, this one, and here / here / here
Denim: new (tts), but couldn’t find on-line. Other options from Forever 21, here / here / here
Shoes: New York & Co. {old}, I know … I am sorry!!!
Clutch: Michael Kors {old}, but .. my pick with this outfit, and everything else you wear this summer .. is this one here {end of story … LOVE}. But if you want more simple and everyday, this one here and here are perfect for a night out. Who wants to have a big handbag, with no place to put it, when dining? I ALWAYS take a clutch, because you can set on the table or if seated in a booth, on the bench. Just a tip … always have a few clutches in your handbag wardrobe. I keep a neutral one in my car for impromptu meetings and dining.
Earrings: Francesca’s {old}, fun options,I LOVE these here. A more affordable option, here at f-21 / these Coral would look great, but they also come in the teal w/ yellow {LOVE}
Bracelets: {old}, suggestions, here / here / here
Sunglasses: Coach, more affordable options, here and here

I have talked in the past, on Snapchat, as well as in this blog post, here about wearing colors that are not so flattering on you. I mentioned how you CAN wear these particular colors, but in order to not look tired, or worse case, ill; you need to put some emphasis in the makeup you are wearing to bring back life and color to your face. You can also remedy this by pulling in flattering, colorful earrings or a scarf to help liven up your complexion. That is exactly what I did, here. Wearing this warm-toned yellow, with it’s slight tint of mustard top is definitely NOT a flattering color for my more cool-toned skin. But I toyed, and played with teal eyeshadows on my brown eyes and with colorful earrings, as well .. to offset the unflattering color I am wearing. It worked out well, and all-in-all, I was pleased with the final look.
I wore this outfit last night to have dinner and drinks with some friends. We had a great time. We met up with my friend, Amy and her husband, Kelly. I met Amy, a while back .. from connecting through our Instagram Platforms. She is a devoted subscriber to my blog, and .. like me .. an avid shopper, as well. But, we will keep that part from Kelly!!! lol This beginning has evolved into a great friendship. Both my husband, Paul & I have met Amy before, when she attended the Nordstrom Beauty Event, last month. We had an instant connection with her, and really enjoyed meeting her other-half, last night. Good times with Great people! We ate in Clarkston at a restaurant that the four of us all love; the Union Woodshop. This is a great restaurant to meet and mingle with people, because you ALWAYS have a lengthy wait, and the restaurant has the best upstairs for breaking the ice, having drinks and good conversation. You also, always run into people that you know. We ran into our neighbor, who .. if you are familiar with Crim Festival of Races, he is the CEO of that organization (Gerry Myers). It’s pretty sad that the only time we talk to our neighbors, is through random meetings of running into one another. I always feel a sense of guilt. Do you ever feel that way?
Today is going to be a beautiful day, so I am not going to spend it here on the computer. Some fun things are happening later this week on Snapchat! If you like golf, more like …Ricky, Rory, Jordan, Dustin, Bubba, or in my husband’s case, Phil. As well as good dining, and romantic getaways ..okay, I’m stretching it a bit with the romantic. But hey, a girl can dream, right? Also, an upcoming 3-day Intermittent Fast, and anything else that inspires me at any given moment, you know where to find me!!!
Get out there, be bold and make it a beautiful day!
