M & M Cookies
My family and I love a good M & M cookie any time of the year. But nothing tops M & M Cookies at Christmastime. It is the ultimate holiday cookie!
If you think about it, M & M cookies are really nothing more than a Chocolate Chip Cookie enhanced with bits of color. The recipe for either cookie will work, and pretty much give you the same results. I know at our house, my girls & I use my M & M Cookie recipe whether were making M & M or Chocolate Chip. But what happens when you take the Milk Chocolate M & M’s, with their delicious candy coated crunch, pair them with the Semi-Sweet Chocolate chips and add it to an incredibly soft, chewy and perfectly sweet cookie? I say decadence! I like the added bonus of the mini M & M’s. There is something about M & M’s made into tiny form, that just make these treasures that much more pleasing to sink your teeth into!
I don’t know what cookie Santa’s going to request at your house, I don’t think you can go wrong with these little festive delights. If you are going to be a part of a cookie exchange this year, I would say these are definitely a good crowd-pleasing choice (young & old). It would be hard to find someone who didn’t love these cookies. Trust me, Santa is going to dig these!!!
I know we will be enjoying these delights at our house (Santa included). I Hope you get a chance to make these this Christmas season and enjoy every chewy morsel with your family, too! Click this blog post if you are looking for other festive dessert ideas.

12/11/2015These certainly look yummy! I always enjoyed them at my grandmother’s house . It has been years since I have made them. I will have to get some M&M’s soon. I can’t believe Christmas is almost here!

12/12/2015This is a great recipe Cindy! My girls or myself, make these all the time … whether chocolate chips or M & M’s. I know what you mean about Christmas. I hate to admit, I get a little gloomy the first couple days after Christmas. It’s all the excitement and build up of the celebration and then ‘boom’, it’s gone. Also, we spend a lot of time with relatives this time of year. I am always sad to see it go back to normal …which is too much time between visits. Thanks for sharing!!! xo
