Coffee Table Book Gift Guide

Coffee Table Book Gift Guide

When it comes to decorating, there are two items that I don’t think you can ever have too much of: candles and coffee table books. I have already shared my love for candles, and made some recommendations for Christmas Gift Giving, here.

Now I want to share with you my coffee table book recommendations, and also give some ideas on who a gift, such as a coffee table book, may be suitable for. I currently own several of the books that I am recommending. Each year at Christmas, I generally ask for an addition to add to my collection. My daughters know exactly what I like, so it is always a nice surprise when I open my gift and see what coffee table book they had selected for me each year.

There are many reasons I am so in love with all kinds of coffee table books … they usually offer some pretty incredible photography, fun facts, and provide some interesting reading material. But what I love most is how their beautiful covers look atop my coffee table, bookshelves, side tables and anywhere else I can tuck a stack of beauties.

Coffee table books can be the perfect gift for your hard-to-buy-for person. Who really doesn’t like receiving a book? Novels make a lovely gift, as well. If you know of a specific type of novel that the person you are gifting likes to read, that is great option, and generally very affordable. However, coffee table books are a great alternative. You really can’t go wrong with purchasing a book like this. They are not your typical reading material. A coffee table book’s purpose is mainly for the visual interest they create, and therefore are designed to be just that: something to set out on a coffee table.

Coffee table books can range from fashion and beauty, to decor and DIY’s. There are coffee table books pertaining to history, sports and everything in-between. It really has to do with what a person’s interest is. Cookbooks make a lovely coffee table book.

All of the books listed, which have the ♥ symbol next to them, indicate the ones my family & I currently have. As you can see, my girls and I love coffee table books.

That’s great Heather! What a nice tradition .. if you choose to add the new editions, each year. I wish I would have kept up with the collection, myself. I will definitely enjoy watching my oldest daughter collect over the years.

I LOVE this idea, especially when combined in a gift bundle (like the one for Pips)!!! I’m working on thinking of incorporating this into other gift bundles. Thanks for the GREAT ideas!

Lisa, I am so happy to hear that this post was helpful. I too love Amazon … we have been utilizing them for years. I am glad that they finally started working with bloggers. They don’t do a lot. And it’s probably because they keep their prices so low … but it all helps! For someone who does very little reading .. due to time, I am a bookworm … when it comes to pretty coffee table books!!
