Building A Relationship with Your Grandkids in the Early Years

Another day of an early morning chat with A LOT of coffee in my beautiful, sacred place.

Today, I share my observations of raising five children through various seasons.

From how they see us when they are young to where we stand during the long middle years and what our relationship looks like once they become adults. I touch on how technology and influences from peers steal that adoration our children once had for us and how we, as parents and grandparents, can lean into this confusing truth to navigate this season with ease and grace.

Grandchildren are no exception. They, too, will experience the same tugs and pulls of these mainstream influences, leaving us longing for what we once were – their world.

Today, I share how to foster family connection through engagement and traditions even when you don’t live close to your children and grandchildren. I touch on the cousin relationship and the importance of grandparents’ roles in encouraging those relationships.

The Most Important Thing is to make The Most Important Thing The Most Important Thing.
