    HI Tracy,

Thank you for another great video!

When you started your budget series, I thought our systems were very similar – they are not! You have given me a lot to think about! Thank you for that.

I love getting new ideas and finding new ways to do the everyday things that make life simple.

    Have a great day!
    Adina

Thank you for sharing your system! I’ve started incorporating envelopes into my system. I also use Dave Ramsey’s site EveryDollar.com that allows you to budget with virtual envelopes. For the physical ones I picked up these accordion wallets on amazon, i actually have three, one for the monthly stuff, one for Christmas and one to manage my daughters classroom money since i am room mom and collect money from the parents for gifts throughout the year: DeLi Candy Colors Expanding File Folder,Subdivision Accordion File Folder Mini Organizer PP Wallet for Cards,Coupons,Receipt,Tax Item,7×4.5 Inches,12 Pockets with Tabs And Snapper,Color Random https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M4KKQ0G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_a6WKAb4X27N2Z

Tracy, I am surprised you don’t deduct gas and car maintained since you are self employed. You are able to deduct mileage. I think it’s 54.5 cents a mile. It hope you don’t mind my input as you may already be doing this. Thanks for the video. Had great information. Thanks for sharing. Corrie

I’m sorry, Corrie. I am not sure where you received that information. I never indicated any tax information in my Budgeting Videos. On the other hand, yes … you indeed can deduct mileage, gas and many other items when you are self-employed. As a result, I do deduct all the above.
